Good god! Do I ever I find it disturbing that in a time of fear, when most we need our leaders to stay true to our VALUES, our leaders are so quick to abandon them...

FISA: This is bill that will allow or at the very least create a precendent for the government to monitor its citizens without permission or repercussion ( even retroactively ). This means no oversight and no onus. Please take the time to be educated about this issue ( click here for where I got some of my information ) and at the very least take a few minutes to email your state's representatives.

Now, some of you may think this may not be an issue since you have "nothing to hide". But let me ask you one question... have you ever done a google search on a key word for information that maybe related to terrorism ( i.e. machine gun, bomb, extremist ) and wondered if someone might be monitoring you?

Sorry, if anyone felt I injected a political view however, this is not my intention... there are just some things I think that everyone has a right to no matter what their beliefs or point of view... to live life without fearing their government.
